Solana-based prediction market platform Trepa has announced it will shut down. The final round of user participation ends August 12, and the application will remain operational until September 30 so users can withdraw their funds. After that date, the platform will no longer be accessible. The Trepa team said it failed to find product-market fit (PMF). The platform operated a prize pool split mechanism: users guessed specific numerical values, and payouts were distributed proportionally based on how accurate their guesses were. That model made returns unpredictable and gave users no way to exit positions before the round concluded.
